You might have noticed that exercise played no part in those.
I feel like I always make it a resolution, to say, walk for 30 minutes a day, you know, the recommended amount, then I can't actually do it. Or I forget to do it.
Then it's ridiculous that I can't find the time to walk 30 minutes a day. I mean it's only 30 minutes! If this little one can do it (with assistance) then so can I.
Enter Walk-30, the easiest reminder system I've seen. I just signed up, and I was done is less than 30 seconds.
You just enter you phone number (or email) and each day you get a reminder text. Here's the best part, your goal and their goal are the same!
What's the ultimate goal?
Our goal is to help people to stay active. We think that daily reminders might help people be more consistent with their exercise routines. We're using the Walk30 Project as a way to test this idea, and to help us discover the most effective and minimally intrusive ways to motivate people like you.
Honesty, how easy is that?

That is such a good idea! Walking sounds so nice, unfortunately it's in the low 50s and raining here today :(
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea! I decided to hit my fitness goal by starting small - just a 15-minute workout video - until I develop the habit again, then working back up to 30 minutes.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a simple, yet great idea! :)
ReplyDeleteI somehow mosied onto your site (I think it was from TLC?) I can't remember though because I just spent an hour drooling over your gorgeous house! Sooo beautiful!!
Definitely bookmarking you! :) :)

Those little reminders definitely help! I've started putting "exercise" on my calendar so I try and make it a priority. Love your rug, by the way! Is it new?
ReplyDeleteCool! I plug in a reminder on my phone that goes off every day at the same time. Granted, sometimes I ignore it, but for the most part, it's a kick in the tush. :)
