Inspired by Creative Carmella's idea, and my 31 Days of Free Fun series, I decided to make some toilet paper roll art with the kiddos.
Start by smocking them up! These are from Ikea and I love the long sleeves.
Place any long hair into a "ragamuffin craft pony" as my daughter calls her hair style:)
Dip the end of an empty toilet paper roll into some craft paint and start making circles.
I like a more regular pattern.
The kids like to get creative and use the rolls as brushes:)
Then I hung up our masterpieces to dry.
I even popped one in a frame to make it seem more like "real art".

How fun, Jessica! Pinning this to use with my preschool class!

Fun project. I need to pick up some of those smocks!
ReplyDeleteI love this, and so would my littles. It's rain in the forecast here in the NW so this would be perfect this week

Cute! I have been saving toilet paper rolls for Noah's b'day next month. I am going to make palm trees out of them by stacking them. Hope it turns out well.
