Sleep Pink Party #EstrovenPink

In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month (why do I feel like that needs to be capitalized?), I decided to host a party with Sleep Pink. Their site has all sorts of pink party ideas, and I loved the fact that for every photo of a Sleep Pink party you submit, Estroven will donate $100 towards breast cancer research!

$100 is real money people, I can party and take pictures for a good cause:)

I know that breast cancer has touched all of our lives in some way, and this is the very least that I can do to give back, make a difference in the world, and spread the pink message a bit further this month. Now don't you want to have a pink party too?

This is a part of my 31 Days of Free Fun series, click on the image below to get to the entire list of free activities!

Here's the breakdown of the party, and why it still fits into my Free Fun month:

I used pink table coverings, plates, and napkins left over from my daughter's pink Butterfly Birthday Party.

I was going to be drinking anyway, so I chose pink drinks, and added the already-owned glass tags from the Butterfly Birthday Party this summer. I though of making Pink Grapefruit cocktails, since it packs in the Vitamin C and the pretty pink color all in one! Instead, we just went with pink champagne.

You can see my friends had the same idea, here is what one friend brought with her.

We ate outside on the deck. This was the best I could do before the raging group of 1-5 year olds over ran us:)

And you thought that my month of free fun was all paper airplanes, Halloween treats and kid related items? Not a chance:)

During the month of October, Estroven is providing women with the necessary tools to host a Sleep Pink-themed party on SleepPink.com. The site will allow party hosts to upload photographs of their events, and for every photo, the company will pledge $100 to benefit the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It will also provide information to help organize the Sleep Pink parties including downloadable invitations, menopause-friendly drink and food recipe suggestions, as well as décor and entertainment ideas.

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Estroven. The opinions and text are all mine.

And the party was all mine too:)

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I love hearing what you have to say! Sometimes I'm busy chasing after the three kids who can walk, or feeding the baby, but I promise, at some point I'll get back to you and head over to your blog (if you have one) to leave you a comment too:)
