I just chose one pretty typical day, and decided to walk around and take pictures so you can see how my house looks to my family.
Enjoy!
The living room as it normally looks, with some toys and books on the coffee table.
Our dining room also has the high chair pulled up to it with a splat mat underneath. Plus the two "bigger" kids sit in the black wood chairs. Even though we used a fabric treater on the dining room chairs (the same one I used to protect my linen purse), they are still too young and messy to sit on upholstered chairs for 3 meals a day!
Yup, this is totally what the play area looks like. Note the MagnaTiles tower. I told you they were our favorite toy ever!
Now the MagnaTiles have moved to our kitchen counter. And so has my husband's computer bag, and a few lunch boxes on the island.
The entry shot from the living room. Only one little bag at the front door, my kids had just come back from a sleepover.
Giving myself "points" for this one. The photo gallery on the stairs and the wedding canopy we just hung up are looking pretty good.
My master bath is also doing well, just excuse the potty in the corner:)
Look, I actually made the bed! We just got new bedding so I'm currently inspired to make my bed *almost* everyday. Although you can only see the smallest bit of a pile of clothes in the bottom left corner.
What does your house look like right now?

love the real life glimpse and yours isn't even that bad!
Pshh! That's nothing. ;)
And also, you need to explain exactly how that TV is hanging in your living room. I'm kind of fascinated by it...

I love your house. And I love that you gave us a behind the scenes view of it! It is always hard when you only picture houses perfectly made up for blog world....sometimes I feel like no one else has a hard time with keeping things clean and organized all of the time! Thanks for making me feel more normal. :o) Hope you are doing well friend!

This is really close to what my house looks like right now! (ya know, besides the fact that my house is no where near as pretty as yours!) I love the real life look into your place!
Like a cyclone ran through it! My piles move from hard surface to hard surface. I think it multiples while I'm sleeping!
Your messy rooms rival most fully styles homes!
