Somehow I got all caught up in images of the giant flag that we hung off the front of the house for 4th of July and I totally forgot to add the food we munched on.
And since this blog is also a way for me to log what I cook, bake, decorate, craft, diy, design, and read; here you go.
Both are fairly self-explanatory. For the salsa, I just added blueberries to store-bought salsa fresca (shhh, don't tell!). And the salad was a selection of mini-heirloom tomatoes, avocado, basil from the garden, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
Then we capped off the night with a sunset before the fireworks started.

Great spread! I have a super blueberry salsa recipe I shared back in June -- fresh blueberries, chopped red bell pepper, diced onion, jalepeno peppers, lime juice and cilantro. It's delish!
I'm totally digging your salad!

Have a great day!
I made Heidi's blueberry salsa and now you've got me wanted some more. I do have some tortilla chips....

I've never heard of blueberry salsa, but friends of ours are obsessed with mango salsa. I may have to give this a try at our next gathering...
just want to let you know that I now want blueberry salsa for breakfast!
