Giant Flag

Because who doesn't love a giant flag?

Plus it's a good excuse to show you the front of the house.

With some patriotic waving from my husband and daughters.

We ordered the 12' x 16' flag from Amazon (where I would buy everything if I could).

We added grommets to the corners to help hang it.

We didn't have any string or twine like we thought, and it was already midday on the 4th, so we just improvised and used ribbon:)

Then then flag flapped a bit too much.

So we added hand weights to the corners to help hod it down.

Can you see the lovely purple 2 pounders:)

It was pretty awesome. And now we have a giant flag for any events we might host: 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the Superbowl, Memorial Day, birthday parties...
