Unlike when our baby was in the infant carrier, like I mentioned in the post about car travel with children, this is a million times better because she has more space and the older two aren't always playing with the sun shade over her head!
Top 5 things I love about the Radians
1. They can hold a child from 5-120 pounds, that is seriously for-e-ver
2. They are super narrow on the back seat so you can fit 3 across
3. They are not super narrow in the kid-part, so my kids have plenty of space
4. They are lower to the seat so I'm not constantly bonking my kids' heads trying to wrangle them in and out.
5. They are also super safe, since that's kind of the whole point of a car seat!

I purchased a Radian a few years ago and could not get it installed rearfacing at all! I even took it to our local safekids who could not install it correctly. I was slightly disappointed since I've heard every one sing the praises of these seats. But I also have to admit I was a little relieved as we'd have to carry the seat onto an airplane (and through an airport - we use our car seats on the plane) and those seats were very hard to carry. We ended up with a Britax (which is my go to car seat company). I'm glad you've had luck, and I know people that have them, love them.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to tell my granddaughter about this as she's pregnant with her 2nd child and wanting a total of 4. She also has a seat for each of their cars. Thanks for this recommendation, sugar.

good to know! my mom has 3 car seats in her car and it's tough to fit them.
ReplyDeleteAwww....what beautiful kids.(I don't need carseats so I just enjoyed those sweet faces.)
ReplyDeleteSort of makes me wish I would of bought stock in car seats all those year ago.

Ok, that is impressive! I am impressed that it goes from 5 pounds to over 100. That is definitely worth the investment.
ReplyDeleteLuckily I had twins and not triplets or I would have needed these!
ReplyDeleteBut my girls did rock out in their zebra car seats!

This is a great post! haha.. Lucky for me I have one in an upright front facing car seat who will soon but not to soon be going to a booster and then my son who is in a booster will be in a regular seat with his seat belt. BUT for those who have to make room for car seats and don't have a much room the Radians have been rated the best and when we had a smaller vehicle I was considering purchasing one for our daughter. We'd love it if you'd share this at our Home is Where the Heart is! http://www.homesteadsimple.com/home-is-where-the-heart-is-link-it-up-wednesdays-1/
