Baby Nursery

There is possibly nothing sweeter than a nursery. And with two girls and one boy I still feel comfortable telling you that I'm partial to a little girl's nursery.

Pink!?!

Hello! How can you go wrong?

Yet another Ikea Expedit, I love them. Of course, this one has low pink baskets for toys. The rocker and ottoman are from our "original" nursery, five years and three children ago.

Clearly, I'm a girl who loves decals. In here I used a soft pink flower decal, which is fairly tame compared to the swarm of butterflies in my older daughter's room, the bright orange train in my son's room, or the forest and life-size deer in the loft.

This is the same Pottery Barn Kids crib bedding we've had forever. Just reused in a new room for a new baby. Our older daughter tells us to "reduce, reuse and recycle", so there you go. Doing our part to save the rainforest and all.

Hello goat!

He was a find when my husband and I were newlyweds. Saks Fifth Avenue, the department store, was having a "Wild about Cashmere" event. We didn't buy anything, but afterwards, these goats that had been used in the displays were for sale. For *way* less than toy-store prices. So we bought one, and my husband carried it home, through downtown San Francisco, over his shoulder. We were even stopped by a friendly police officer who asked us if we had a license for the goat!

  2. I love this room! I always think of a little girls room having pink or purple walls but I really love this light blue and then the touches of pink! SO CUTE! and I am seriously LOL about the goat. Where did you get the prints you have above the changing table? I love the one with the farm animals. Might not be too hard to just make some of my own but those are so cute!

  20. Enjoy the pink while you can! Soon, they'll want zebra stripes and neon!

So glad you daughter is into saving the environment at such a young age!!!

And that goat rocks (I remember seeing them in the store). We actually have a guy in our town with a real goat that he takes for walks - Coco. I officially decree your goat the California Coco.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I love hearing what you have to say! Sometimes I'm busy chasing after the three kids who can walk, or feeding the baby, but I promise, at some point I'll get back to you and head over to your blog (if you have one) to leave you a comment too:)
