Ready for a crafting attempt? No? Me neither. But I tried anyway.
These are all over the internet and Pinterest (follow me!), so I decided to make my own. The only downside is that the majority of the fabulous diaper box covers are sewn and I do not do that (see one here). There are many things I excel at, and sewing is not one of them. It's on my "one day to-do list", which probably means "never". So I improvised.
Collect the diaper boxes. That part is very easy. I used 3 Size 6 boxes from our son, who I'm hoping will be out of diapers soon, fingers crossed.
Bring out three rolls of wrapping paper. These will go in our play area off of the kitchen, and I want one box for each of the kid's you-know-what (I'm keeping this blog family friendly).
Then I just wrapped them up like giant presents and filled. My daughter was so happy to have a place for her dress-up clothes. Or at least a place for 1/4 of her dress up clothes.

Cute!!!
Clever idea!
How was I not following you on Pinterest before now? So sorry. Problem rectified! And loving the dress up clothes boxes ...
:)
Linda
Ditto on the Pinterest follow!
Those storage boxes are so cute and lots less $ than if you bought them. And the diaper boxes are a really sturdy resource too. I need to see if neighbors will give me their boxes when they've used up the diapers ... they are going to think I'm crazy. No, I think they already know that :)
Thanks so much for visiting & commenting on my blog!! I love yours! I am your happy newest follower, and hope you can follow me back!

Now they are cool such a great idea I will ask my daughter for her empty nappy box and do it up thanks for giving me this wonderful idea.......
This is one of those times where I'm scratching my head thinking "Why Didn't I think of that?!" I MEAN REALLY! SO smart!
What a great use for a diaper box rather than just throwing them out! Of course I'd LOVE to just get my toddler out of diapers altogether...sigh

Love this! I did something similar with copy paper boxes, covering them with pretty papers (boxes and lids) to use as toy boxes for my baby. Love your polka dot paper!
What a great way to reuse diaper boxes...love it!!
Cute idea!!! I love to sew, but its nice to have project that don't require you to sew. I will be starting a new series " Sew Simple" soon and if you want you could come check it out and give this sewing thing a try! :) Would love for you to think this up at my party that is still going on, or if you would rather wait till this wednesday :) If you like what you see I would LOVE for you to be a follower as well!! Hoping to see you!

Fun upgrade. I've had a lot of luck just painting cardboard recently...wrapping paper is a great option! Great inspiration.
And good luck with the potty training!

So cute! I have a stack of diaper boxes waiting for a makeover - I need to set some aside for dressups. Thanks for the idea and for linking up.
You were right...we did use the same wrapping paper for our closet storage boxes! Looks great!
This caught my eye because I have the pink/purple wrapping paper... Thankfully, I am past the diaper stage, but it's still a great idea!!
How is the wrapping paper holding up? I have been debating what I want to cover mine with. I might break down and sew a little, so I can use fabric.
What a fantastic way to repurpose those! They look great.
Oh my word, this is a GREAT idea, I have about 4 boxes right now in my mudroom, just sitting there, i am going to do this for my kiddies, wonderful idea. I saw you on the linky party, now a follower.
Great idea! I'd love to try this. I'm all about colorful bins and boxes for storage. Thanks for the inspiration!
